Additional Charges & Order Terms

1. What your price includes

The price shown when you order covers fabrication of the design you uploaded, to the specification displayed on that screen, in the quantity you selected, delivered anywhere in India, including GST. There is no tooling fee, no setup fee and no file-handling fee.

Your price does not change after you order. Once you have paid, the amount you were quoted is the amount you pay, even if our costs, exchange rates or our published prices move afterwards.

2. When an additional charge can apply

Only in the situations below. The first two are measured from your own files and shown on the order page as their own line, with the reason, before you pay. For the rest we will tell you the amount and wait for your agreement before charging anything.

• More than one board in a single set of files. Our price covers one board design, repeated as many times as the quantity you order. If the files themselves contain two or more separate boards, each extra one is charged — and that applies to copies of the same design just as much as to different designs. We read this from your board outline when you upload, and it shows as its own line on the order page, with the reason, before you pay. If your outline is drawn in a way we cannot read, tell us at upload — there is a remarks box on the order page — and we will confirm the cost before you pay.
• A board that has to be routed to shape. Our price assumes a rectangular board. An outline that is not a rectangle, or that has slots or cutouts inside it, has to be milled along a path rather than cut straight, and carries a routing charge. Like the above, it is measured from your own files and shown before you pay.
• Boards you have panelised yourself. A panel is priced as a panel, not as a single board — the quote follows the full outline dimensions of the whole panel, so it will not be the price of one board within it, and the boards on it are counted as above.
• Delivery outside our flat-rate areas. Our delivery charge covers India. For anywhere else we will quote the actual shipping before we despatch, and you can cancel for a full refund if you would rather not proceed.
• A repeat delivery attempt caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, or by nobody being available to receive the parcel.
• Changes after you order. A different quantity, specification or design is a new order at the current price.

3. Boards that need a manual check

Some designs sit just outside the specification our quick-turn line is set up for. Where that happens you are offered a choice on the order page: the standard route, which carries no conditions, or the quick-turn route with a manual engineering check.

If you choose the manual check and your design passes, nothing changes. If it does not pass, your order is held — not cancelled and not refunded — until you send us a corrected design. We will tell you exactly what needs to change. Your payment stays against your order, and you may switch to the standard route instead at the price difference.

4. What we build to, and normal manufacturing variation

We manufacture from the files you supply, exactly as supplied. We do not modify your design.

A board is within specification if it falls inside the tolerances below. Variation within them is normal manufacturing behaviour and is not a defect.

• Board outline dimensions — ± 1.0 mm quick-turn, ± 0.1 mm standard
• Plated hole diameter — ± 0.2 mm quick-turn, ± 0.08 mm standard
• Board thickness — ± 10%
• Soldermask registration — ± 0.2 mm quick-turn, ± 0.075 mm standard
• Silkscreen registration — ± 0.3 mm quick-turn, ± 0.15 mm standard
• Warp and twist — 0.75% or less

The following are normal and are not faults: small differences in soldermask and silkscreen alignment; minor breaks or thinning in fine silkscreen text; slight variation in soldermask or surface finish shade between batches; light tooling or handling marks that do not affect function; and roughness at the board edge where boards are separated from a panel.

Your files are fixed at the moment you order. If you upload a revised design afterwards, it does not change an order already placed.

5. Our design review is advice, not approval

We check every upload automatically and our engineers review boards by hand, and we will tell you what we find. That review is offered to help you and is not an approval of your design.

It checks whether your board can be manufactured. It does not check whether your circuit works, whether your components will fit their footprints, or whether the board is suitable for your purpose. Responsibility for the design itself stays with you.

6. Lead times

Lead times are quoted in working days and count from the first working day after your order is confirmed. Orders placed after 12:00 IST start counting from the next working day. Working days are Monday to Saturday; Sundays and public holidays are excluded.

A lead time is the time to despatch, not to delivery. Courier transit is additional and is shown separately. We cannot be held responsible for delays in transit, at customs, or caused by weather or industrial action.

7. Changing or cancelling an order

Your board goes into production as soon as your order is placed, so an order cannot be cancelled or changed once it has been paid for. It is manufactured specifically for you and cannot be resold. Please check your design, quantity and specification before you pay.

If we cancel — because a design cannot be manufactured, appears to infringe someone else’s rights, or is going somewhere we cannot ship — you receive a full refund.

8. If something is wrong with your boards

Tell us within 14 days of delivery, with photographs showing the problem and your order number. We will assess it against your original files and the tolerances in section 4.

Where the fault is ours we will remake the affected boards at no charge. Where a remake is not practical we will refund them. You will not be asked to return faulty boards unless we specifically ask for them.

We cannot accept claims for problems caused by the design itself — incorrect footprints, wrong dimensions, errors in the files, or a circuit that does not function as intended.

9. The limit of our responsibility

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for any other loss arising from a fault — including components fitted to the boards, assembly labour, delay, lost profit or lost business.

10. Orders we may decline

We may decline or cancel an order where the design cannot be manufactured to a workable standard, where it appears to infringe someone else’s intellectual property, or where we cannot ship to the destination given. If we do, you receive a full refund. We will always explain why.
