Production
What is the difference between Prototype and Production boards?
Prototype is our quick-turn, made-in-India service for small-quantity boards dispatched in 48 hours, with a fixed standard spec (green mask, white silkscreen, HASL lead finish). Production is our advanced offering with tighter tolerances, more layers, more finishes and larger volumes. See the capabilities page for the full comparison.
How long does PCB manufacturing take?
Prototype boards are dispatched within 48 hours of design approval. Production lead time depends on layer count, finish and quantity, and typically ranges from a few days upward — the estimate is shown at checkout for your configuration.
What board specifications can you manufacture?
Prototype supports 1–4 layers up to 150 × 100 mm with 0.2 mm (8 mil) minimum trace/clearance. Production supports up to 14 layers (more on request), down to 0.09 mm (3.5 mil) features, and a wide range of materials and finishes. Full details are on the capabilities page.
Is design rule checking (DRC) included?
Yes. Every Gerber upload is automatically checked against our manufacturing rules for free, flagging trace width, clearance, drill size and annular-ring issues before fabrication begins.
What files do you need to manufacture a PCB?
A Gerber set (RS-274X) plus an Excellon drill file, usually supplied as a single ZIP. Most EDA tools (KiCad, EasyEDA, Altium, Eagle) can export this. You can upload and preview your files in our online Gerber viewer before ordering.
Do you test the boards before shipping?
Boards undergo visual and dimensional QC, and electrical (flying-probe or fixture) testing is performed on applicable orders to verify continuity and isolation against the netlist.
What surface finishes do you offer?
Prototype boards use HASL with lead. Production boards can be finished with HASL lead-free, ENIG, ENEPIG, OSP, hard gold or immersion tin/silver.
Assembly (PCBA)
Do you offer PCB assembly?
Yes. We provide SMT and through-hole assembly — from solder-paste stencil and automated pick-and-place through reflow, AOI inspection and optional functional testing.
What files do you need for assembly?
For assembly we need your Bill of Materials (BOM), a pick-and-place (centroid/XY) file, and the Gerbers. The BOM should list reference designators, values, footprints and manufacturer part numbers.
Do you offer turnkey assembly, or do I supply the parts?
Both. With turnkey assembly we source the components for you; with consigned (kitted) assembly you ship us the parts. You can also mix the two — we source what we can and you supply the rest.
Can you do both SMT and through-hole on the same board?
Yes. Mixed-technology boards are assembled with SMT reflow first, followed by through-hole insertion and wave or hand soldering.
What is the minimum order quantity for assembly?
We support low-volume and prototype assembly runs, including single-piece builds for bring-up. Larger production volumes are handled on the Production line.
Do you provide stencils?
Yes, laser-cut SMT stencils can be supplied with your order, or as a standalone item.
Can you apply conformal coating?
Yes. Conformal coating is available as an option for boards destined for humid or harsh environments.
